How to get the plugin and tagging feature?

I need tagging the document and figure out this plugin is very useful: https://snowdreams1006.github.io/gitbook-official/en/plugins/

However, it requires the book.json which is abandoned now.

I am wondering whether I can use this plugin in another way? Or is there any tagging feature I can use?
