assign manual X.509 certificate for saml

When I configure a SAML-provider for SSO , then I must configure the IdP metadata.
In the Metadata you can find the cert that you need to manually copy from the metadata and upload as file in the gitbook config.

When the cert changed , then the connection is broken. Is it possible to auto import the cert from the given URL metadata without manually extracting and importing the cert, so that when the Cert changed the setup is not in a broken state.
