How to get "user_input" value?

It seems that it will return a dic but actually it is Nonetype.

How can I get the value of "user_input"? Thanks!

Thanks greatly for answering this so patient and carefully!
It does provide a way to export the value. Though I don't know how it works, I use 'global' in the def on_click(args):instead to gain the value since print cannot pass value. 😸
