Android TV press back return to TV home screen when player paused

On Android TV, I'm using server jellyfin, in tab "Movie" of 3 tabs "TV series"-"Movie"-"Live", I click on a video on "Watch Now" to play that video then pause the player, then press back button on remote and the app exit to TV home screen (It should return back to Movie tab or previous screen).

Same behavior happend when click on a video to go to full info of 1 video screen then press play, then pause then press back button on remote will return to TV home screen, not the full info of 1 video screen

Can you fix this strange behavior or better: provide a notification such as "Press back again to exit" like others app

To be precise, it should be a crash down. Even if it is not paused, the player will crash down when go back. This is indeed the case when tested on an Android 9 emulator.
