CoCoML is needed for CASCaDE

CASCaDE is a VDA/Prostep/GfSE initiative to set an OMG standard for Product Lifecycle Collaboration. System Information from multiple sources will be put in a common context for sharing, navigating, searching and auditing. Any input will be combined in a knowledge graph for that purpose.

Part of this endeavor is to translate (relevant) content from UML/SysML models to the knowledge graph. It is fairly obvious that genuine UML/SysML semantics is too loosely defined to allow a bidirectional and lossless translation.

Let us find (and discuss here) a practical way to achieve such translation: CoCoML shall be a concise and consistent subset of UML/SysML.
