Candidate Technologies: Can we use SpecIF ?

• How can SpecIF aid at defining the CASCaDE metamodel?

There are certain characteristics which would help us, but it does not benefit of using a graph ecosystem. No queries like "Give me all requirements satisfied by this or that system function which have been changed after 2024-11-24" without extensive programming.

The benefits of SpecIF are:

• clear separation of syntax and semantics
• both classes and instances for both resources (nodes) and statements (edges) can be defined.
• fast and fairly simple schema and constraint checking (Today JSON-Schema and Javascript), other implementations are possible.
• element-level revision control and definition of change-sets are possible (where element is the abstraction of resource and edge).
