Geonode 4.2.x view metadata not showing metadata wizard

Hi guys, I deployed a GeoNode- project instance on Ubuntu 24 LTS using docker. The version of GeoNode I chose was Geonode 4.2.x, according to the documentation. The instance runs well, but when I update the metadata of a resource I have added, I do not see the metadata wizard or the Advanced option. instead, I get the page as shown in the images below;

when I click on the "view full metadata" link, the page appears as below;

Has anyone come across this, and also might anyone have a workaround to this?

I suspect you installed GeoNode master. What you see is the new editor, which is only available on master.
Please double-check the requirements.txt file in your geonode project. For version 4.2.x it should be like this
