GitHub Copilot for Eclipse and ABAP

I am using Eclipse 2025-06 (4.36) with OpenJDK 21, GitHub Copilot plugin 0.10; I am working with an On-Premise ABAP system but I cannot chat with Copilot, when I issue any request, the error code I am receiving is "Copilot currently does not support URI with scheme: semanticfs", is there any solution to this? previously I was able to chat with Copilot without problems, maybe a plugin update is worng?

Hi Arty, I don't believe we've made changes in this area.

1. Can you clarify what version of Copilot4Eclipse you are using now and what version you were using in the past?
2. I'm assuming there were no other changes in your environment (same version of Eclipse and additional plugins?)
3. Does chat work if you have non ABAP files active, like Java or a text file for instance? And as a sanity check, you're sure it was working for the same type of file in the past?

@ArtyHernie I just realized you're talking about the the GitHub Copilot plugin and not our plugin, Copilot4Eclipse. Did you switch plugins?

Hi! In fact both plugins are not working...when using Copilot4Eclipse the Copilot remains processing the prompt and it does nothing...Might be something in my current Software setup?

Also it looks like in another installation, Eclipse 2025-03, ADT 3.52 and GitHub Copilot 0.8, the copilot is able to work without any issue, so something happened to the plugin...
