Content pasted into the chat window is rendered with formatting and as HTML

Hi, just reporting this issue I've noticed quite a bit while using the chat. I had a quick scan of open issues, didn't spot a duplicate.

In general, the text rendering behaviour of the chat panel can be a bit unpredictable. If you are pasting some code and it happens to match special formatting syntax (e.g. italics), it renders the text with formatting rather than verbatim.

Also, again, if you paste HTML code that you want the chat bot to analyse then it renders the code as formatted HTML rather than verbatim. This can cause issues in the flow of the chat and you can actually execute JavaScript commands in the chat panel which isn't ideal.
