I want to stitch together a setup with a clipboard manager so that I can highlight a phone number on my PC and somehow have my phone dial this number, preferably without picking it up to confirm. I have a nice speakerphone connected by BT, so I don't need my PC handle anything else, just the dialing. |

GSConnect already works as a tel: link handler, but you do need to confirm on the phone itself. Can't think of a way to get around that. |

I don't think google would allow getting around that, for non-system apps. They've increasingly locked that stuff down over the years, so even if it was possible before I doubt it is any longer. Even when apps have "insert this number into the dialer" permission, you still have to press Send. I'm sure they'd get in hot water the first time some app wardialed 9-1-1, otherwise.
The only exception I can think of offhand is maybe a Bluetooth connection -- I believe paired Bluetooth devices with the correct feature set to dial numbers are permitted to do so (when that option is enabled in the phone's settings for the paired device) without confirmation, since it's sort of the whole point of Bl…
