GVim with DOCTYPE html, BUT: I want to send plain text mails

Hi, the plugin is really great!

I want to send plain text mails using GVim, and this is configured in my TB Composition Settings as "Only Plain Text"

However, the editor always starts with:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html><head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"></head><body><p><br></p></body></html>

Is there anything I can do to start with a 'clean' text file?
