Upgrading to 2.8.0 breaks tsconfig paths

This happens after upgrading. Any ideas why or what I can do?

Yes! I think this was a side effect of how we used to treat "mounted" directories as aliases. That automatic behavior no longer exists, so you'll just need to add your "src" as an import alias to your snowpack config file:

alias: {"src": "src"}

I had to do:
alias: {"src": "./src"}
