Support converting JSON imports to URL references?

Hello,
I bumped into an issues when building SAP UI5 web components modules for my app, which is likely a deficiency of snowpack. Can you please look at this discussion and let me know if I should file feature request for snowpack, or if there is way to do this in snowpack we were not aware of.

Agreed that we should add support for this, but for the moment JSON, CSS, and CSS Modules are all hard-coded in how they are imported in your source code.

However, npm packages are handled in a separate pass. Is there a Rollup plugin for JSON that you recommend using with SAP UI5 components? You may be able to customize this with installOptions.rollup.plugins
