open emailaddress from contact app in webbrowser?

Hello,
can I also use the email icon in the contact app to redirect to riseup webmail in firefox for android, when the browser is open?
If not, can you program a redirect to the browser? Is that even possible?
Or is there a setting in about:config that the browser detect email addresses from other apps?
