Add ActivityPub support, join the Fediverse #85

I just bumped into this project via Open Source Design community, and - looking at your vision and goals for this platform, being an advocate for the Fediverse myself (@humanetech on mastodon.social) - looks like the Federation of Humanitarian Technologists would feel right at home at the Fediverse. And that the Coalesce platform would lend itself to be federated, by adding ActivityPub open standards support.
What would be the benefits? I did not take a close look at current functionality you offer. But there'd be a federation of servers that anyone can spin up and then start to exchange Volunteer positions with each other, while any fedizen (a passionate group of people when it comes to supporting humanitarian causes) can follow, receive and spread them across the network.
ActivityPub protocol works similar to email. You exchange messages that are based on ActivityStreams, but being a Linked Data standard, can be extended to support any custom message types.
