New Logo ideas for Jackson 3.0

Below are new logo idea for Jackson 3.
Lemme know which ones you like.
I was thinking we all pick top 1,2, 3 and see where we get most votes. Then move on to either develop existing one or just simply agree on what we feel like.

I think I can see auto generation from "tools" (Maven/Java package name? :) with maybe GenAI.
But not sure I feel that is the way to go.

At the same time I don't have good alternative ideas. I hope others have :)

Well, I figured we can at least use those images to help brainstorming for about anything.
Honestly though, I don't see no harm keep using existing ones or going with simple writing-styled logo.

Absolutely! I did not mean to imply anything otherwise -- all proposals can stir discussion.

And plain text-based variants could work; there's still color scheme to play with, fonts.

Or something from whatever domain (animals are popular, plants, as mascots). I don't think Jackson really has anything associated with it.

For another take, here's what Dall-E (chat-gpt gfx generator) gave with basic prompt and minimal guidance:

nothing fancy but... gives an idea of GenAI usage I suppose.

(NOTE: I do NOT offer this as something to use; it is purely for generating discussion -- it's too generic "Hey, Java thing" for one)

Quick note: I asked an LLM/ChatBot for ideas and it suggested couple of things; most interesting (if obvious in hindsight) is reference to Jack-in-the-box (toy, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack-in-the-box). So that could be one thing.

But more interestingly, when sharing that idea on BlueSky, I got a comment:

suggesting going with my avatar -- "tiny cowboy" -- as the starting point.

And THAT feels immediately like a winner. FWTW.

We'd still need someone to draw it... and almost certainly not a GenAI system.
