Compact mode causing overlap of weather data

I love this card so much. Thank you for making it!!

I have 2 issues:

#1, when I use compact mode and choose to show the weather (highs and lows), the numbers overlap the days of the week:

#2 is a feature request. Could you please add the option to show "a.m." or "p.m." when using 12-hour time?

possible Solution to #1

I use override columns:

columns:
extraLarge: "6"
large: "5"
medium: "4"
extraSmall: "1"
small: "2"

Background:
I use HA on Smartphones, Tablets, Notebooks, TV's
Like you, i have all the extras (weather, temperature min / max) activatet.

Thank you!! I didn't think to use these. This helps to prevent the overlapping - but makes it so I can't put the full week in one row. I think it would be nice to put the weather info over on the left side (underneath the day title) so each column wouldn't have to be so wide, with so much dead space (red boxes):
