Memory Leak?

Does anyone else have a high (and increasing) memory usage issue?

I'm on Arch Linux (Wayland/Hyprland).
It installed well, runs just fine at first, and after a few minutes of use it slows my system down to a crawl.
I have 16 GB of RAM, 13 usable, and being pretty much the only program running it will use up all my memory.

There's high memory usage on initial startup (issue here: #452)

Does the memory usage increase over time (when no user interaction is supplied). If so there may be an additional issue
