Add ability to save and apply personal default settings to instances #1273

What is your suggestion?

Perhaps the most annoying ritual when making a new instance is needing to change all of the settings and keybinds to match my personal preferences again after launching the pack. I think it would be great if the app supported the ability to list default values for some number of settings which it would apply at first launch of the fresh instance for you.

I would be happy if it could manage/set the vanilla MC settings / keybinds at the minimum (video, audio, etc). Support for FTB mods and arbitrary other mods' settings / config files as well would be fantastic.

There are some modpacks which apply their own changes to the defaults, so it may need to support applying the changes in layers to allow the user to pick whether they want their default or the modpack suggested default. I think it might work to support picking / applying the settings in a modal during first launch of the pack.

There are external ways of managing this since the files are just text files, but I'd really like something integrated into the launcher that can apply the changes cleanly to the pack without me needing to launch the pack once first and then close to apply them. Or needing to remember to use my external tool in the first place.
