Using forecast information

Hi,

I'm trying to use the daily forecast information shown by the integration elsewhere in Home Assistant, but I can't figure out how to use the information. All the forecast details are displayed as expected in the UI:

However, when I check the attributes of the weather entity, I can't find any usable forecast data:

Does anyone know how to use the daily forecast values in automations or templates?

thanks for your quick reply and the hint. I've already integrated that into my configuration.yaml, but I only got three new sensors:

The min temperature in the next five days is indeed 8.3°C, but the max temperature sensor seems to be missing (it was maybe already quite late 😄, there has to be another sensor for the max temp). Also, there is only one minimum value for the next five days, not one per day.

Is it possible to get both the min and max temperature as well as the weather condition for each day?

What I'm trying to achieve is a similar view to the forecast shown in the integration itself, but on an external display. For that, I need the individual values as separate sensors. Did I miss something?

You have to adjust the template sensors and add one for each day.

Have a look in the developer tools in the Homeassistant UI on the actions tab. There is a action "get forecasts" which displays all data the weather entity is providing.

Thanks a lot! This is the first time I've played around with weather information, so I wasn't aware that this action provides the daily forecast as a list. The information and examples in the Home Assistant documentation were a bit misleading for me — though maybe it was just too late at night 😄
