Installing new bloxshade always fails

Every time I try to install Bloxshade on the new fixed version (woohoo! :D) it says my roblox installation is not found, so I downloaded it like it says and installed official Roblox client, and re-ran Bloxshade installer. But it still says Roblox install was not found?

firstly, do you use bloxstrap or fishstrap, and secondly (if you do), do you reinstall roblox from the bloxstrap/fishstrap menu or from setup?

I don't use them, I ran the official Roblox installer from the prompt by Bloxshade (Clicking OK on Roblox not found) and re-ran the Bloxshade installer but the same Roblox not installed prompt shows

It could be because it's installing Roblox to my user local directory and since bloxshade runs with UAC Admin it could be searching the admin users directory and not my specific users

no it's not, bloxshade will always search in your user directory for roblox, it should be coded for it to do that

I think I've encountered this issue too. I don't know for sure, but here's my guess. Because I deleted the old roblox launcher directly in Explorer, the Windows registry still has the path to it registered via /AppData/Local/, even though the launcher is now installed in /ProgramFiles (x86)/. Because of this, Bloxshade is looking for the launcher in AppData, even though it's no longer there.

I tried installing Roblox to my admin AppData, and Bloxshade worked fine, which led me to believe that it searches the admin directory. When running the roblox installer I chose run as Admin then ran bloxshade, then launched roblox and it was there.

Don't know why it doesn't work without UAC/Admin permissions.
