Thank you very much for the excellent work on LOTUS and the creators for open-sourcing it!

However, when I processed stuffed toy products, I noticed that the overall values of the normal map appear to be relatively low . From the visualization, even the background seems to appear darker. Could you please explain the reason for this? Is the generated normal map accurate in this case?

Hi, sorry for my late reply. Which version of the Lotus model did you use? I tested the samples you provided using our official demo, and the results seem good, especially our Lotus-G.

I noticed that the resolution of your images is quite low. I’d recommend resizing them to a higher resolution for better results.

the resolution of this panda image is 1920*1080, however it seems wrong~
Do you test other stuffed toys before~

I know it's pretty late, but I believe this problem is because you're not resizing the image to 1024x1024, in my experience using images with higher resolution than that cause weird behaviors.
