Use 1 wire dallas as buffertank sensor - J-series

Hi All,
i love the project and have used it alot.
I have in a few threads now read about the idea to use the 1wire channel as a buffer tank sensor.
But none i have read are reporting a solution.

i tried several things but seem to be missing a step.
1st:

Through REST API
http://192.xxx.xxx.xxx/command?SetBufferTemp=Ds18b20#28xxxxxxxxxxxxx
the return is: set optional pcb 'set_buffer_temp' to temp 0.00 (bf)

The TOP46 goes to state: 0 - in principle it works just not as intended, how to get the 1 wire data related as input?

trying to create a ruleset like suggested here:

There is a fatal: internal error lexer_peek #473
and error unexpected token 3560

i think Heisha should be able to it, i simply cannot.
If not, is there a way to read and forward the data to TOP46 in HA?

Try like this:

with tabulator ( with you are not able to make in web window , only on external editor) , and also semicolon ";" at the end ( and for sure this "- 0" can be ommited , i use it just for calibration)....

for me this works ( at least SetZ1WaterTemp and SetZ1RoomTemp worked all the time , now i added @SetBufferTemp ,and TOP46 has now also value from sensor...)

Hi Mig-41,
perfect, the rule set was accepted as suggested and sensordata shows in TOP46.

Does the Rules webinterface write to a specific file that could be edited instead?
