Some analyses are needed to ensure total runoff exported from CTSM is preserved in runoff imported into ROF component (both MOSART and mizuRoute). Some tasks are:
- Compute in global total runoff exported from CTSM:
Flrl_rofsur, Flrl_rofsub, Flrl_rofgwl. These are coupler outputs. unit is mm/s so multiplier by CTSM grid area to get volume.
- Compute in global total runoff imported into ROF (the same variable names as above). The same conversion from depth to volume by multiplying imported runoff depth by ROF grid area.
- Compare those to see how much difference.
- repeat above for MOSART (0.5 degree, and 1/8th degree) and mizuRoute HDMA.
