CESM coupled run - budget report

Coupler mediator has an option to write diags.log by turning on do_budgets (do_budgets = .true.). It looks like this outputs water and energy budget per month.

I would need a help to how to interpret the report. I can kind of guess, but any documentation? does negative mean water/energy out of the component (per unit areas)?

I also have /glade/derecho/scratch/mizukami/ctsm-mizuRoute/archive/f09_f09_rHDMAlk/logs/diags.log.3332895.desched1.251010-171713.gz.
