The compilation process reports errors (. /case.build)

Hello E3SM experts, I'm currently getting the following error during the build process (. /case.build) is giving me the following error, I don't know how to fix it, I hope you can help me, thanks. Personally, I think the file might not have been downloaded completely.

Looks like you are using an outdated compiler and/or code.

No, this is the latest version of E3SM version 3.0.2 that I just downloaded, and I personally think the probable reason is that the github file was not downloaded in full.

If there is code missing, might be submodules?

did you use the --recursive option with git clone (per https://acme-climate.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/1868455/Development+Getting+Started+Guide)

If not, try git submodule update --recursive --init

I don't think it's a submodules issue, since it's building scorpio files, and scorpio does not uses submodules itself. It looks like it had issues finding the correct netcdf libraries maybe? nf_64bit_data was not found, suggesting there may be an issue with the netcdf-fortran installation. Maybe it's an old version? What are the netcdf installation specs?

You could try to locate netcdf.inc in the netcdf-fortran libs installation, and see if the symbol nf_64bit_data is there. If not, that may be part of the reason. You should also check in spio.bldlog what cmake said about the netcdf libs it found. It is possible for some reason it picked up the wrong ones...
