Use of Production License Key in Performance Testing Environment #213
-
Hello, We are currently integrating Duende IdentityServer with our .NET 8 application and have been conducting performance testing in a controlled test environment. However, we are encountering the 500-request threshold associated with Trial Mode. To ensure realistic and uninterrupted performance testing, we would like to request an evaluation or temporary license key that allows us to test beyond the trial limitations. Could you please advise if it's possible to obtain such a key for non-production use? Alternatively, if our production license can be safely used in a test environment without affecting usage terms, please confirm that as well. Thank you for your support. @RolandGuijt |

Hi @nithinvelluva - it's perfectly OK to use your production key in this environment (see https://docs.duendesoftware.com/identityserver/v7/fundamentals/license_key/#trial-mode). We have a similar discussion here (https://github.com/orgs/DuendeSoftware/discussions/115#discussioncomment-12562549), would be interesting if you could add your thoughts on what we propose there? |
