Watchlist sync not working correctly

Hey @Drakonis96 ,

Issue:

• When i remove or add a title from the trakt watchlist, they are not deleted or added to my plex watchlist.

Result:

• Trakt -> Plex (doens't work)
• Plex -> Trakt (works fine)

When I remove or add something from the plex watchlist, it is also removed or added to my trakt watchlist. (this works as excepted)

My expectation:

• I would expect that if I delete or add something from the trakt watchlist, it would also be deleted or added in my plex watchlist.

The direction is set to bidirectional and I have also activated Live sync.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi @jamal2362, could you confirm if you’re running the latest version of the app (v0.4.0)? If so, have you also applied the updates to the compose and .env files?

Just want to double-check so I can better understand what’s going on.

Hi @jamal2362, I've just pushed v0.4.4. I tested the watchlist sync with Trakt and it’s working fine on my end. Before removing an item on either service, it now checks the most recent update to prevent re-adding something that was already removed in the other service.

It's really strange...
When I add or remove something from the Trakt watchlist, it doesn't apply to Plex watchlist. (not working)
When I add or remove something on Plex watchlist, it applies to the Trakt watchlist. (works)

@jamal2362 Can you confirm if the item being added/removed from trakt is present on your plex library?

I am getting the same issue as user above where adding a title on Trakt doesnt get added to Plex watchlist. The two titles are not in my library. Is that required for Trakt -> Plex watchlist sync ?

I currently have watchlist set as bidirectional.

@bequbed I'd imagine it would be a given that for Plex to add it to the watchlist that it would have to be an item currently in the library. You should be able to test by creating a dummy file in your Plex library to see if it adds it.
