Add missing Trakt-like sync options to Simkl and fix Plex list mix-ups

Description
Simkl currently only supports one sync option (“Watched History”), whereas Trakt offers all of the following:

• Collection
• Ratings
• Watched History
• Liked Lists
• Watchlists
• Live Sync

I’d like Simkl to gain parity with Trakt by adding these other sync options.

In addition, I’m seeing incorrect behavior when syncing Plex watchlists:

1. Plex watchlist items are being marked as “watched” in Simkl/Trakt.
2. TV shows and movies sometimes get swapped (e.g. a TV series appears under Movie history, or vice versa).

This happens regardless of whether I sync via Trakt or Simkl, so I suspect the Plex connector is mapping the wrong list and mismatching titles.

Hi! Thanks for pointing it out.

That bug should be fixed in latest release (v0.4.0). This version introduces some changes in the compose file and .env.example. Make sure you check those before updating.

Simkl parity with Trakt is on the roadmap; the new update already adds Live Sync and Ratings.

Let me know if you spot any other bug.

I wanted to provide more details about what’s happening:
• I cleared my entire watch history on both SIMKL and my Plex watchlist/history.
• After doing this, “plexytrak” still filled both SIMKL and Plex with media that I’ve never watched.
• Fortunately, I had a backup and was able to restore my real data from Trakt, so there’s no major loss.
The concern is: even after clearing everything from both Plex and SIMKL, when I click sync in “plexytrak,” it continues to sync a large amount of content, even though my libraries should be empty.
• I tried deleting the “stat.json” file, but that didn’t solve the problem—lots of content still got synced (roughly 4,000 movies, 2,000 TV shows, and 3,000 anime).
• Just to be sure, I revoked access to all apps connected to SIMKL except “plexytrak.” I also stopped the container and made sure the SIMKL lists were empty.
After all these steps, it’s clear that the issue is coming from “plexytrak”—but I can’t figure out where it’s getting this content from.
Could you please help me understand what might be causing this and where “plexytrak” could be pulling in this data from?

Hi @alazabe I’ve made a few changes to the watchlist sync in v0.4.1. Please remove your current container and create a new one so any old files are cleared out. Let's see if that fixes it
