Changing the Default Items Per Page Setting

Is there a way to set it such that each time I go to a page, the number of items shown per page does not default to 20? If I set the pull down to 50/page on the Spools page, then go to another page to add a new spool or add a new filament, when I go back to the Spools page, it defaults to 20/page again. I'd like to be able to set this to 50 if possible.
