Yes, it's used on the Epiphany in one of the nocturns and with the invitatory antiphones as in the file. Please note this Latin version is different from Jerome's Roman Psalter which is used on the other 361 days a year (after subtracting the Triduum). |

Laudétur Jesus Christus!
I have a question: does anyone use
Psalmorum/Psalm94
? in their code?Of course, I did a search and came up empty, but before changing the half-psalm, half-mangled-Invitatory back to a full Psalm without
$ant's
and with verse 6, I'd like to be sure I can do it.Why am I asking: in the Cistercian rite, there is no Invitatory for Ferial Office, but instead, the full Psalm 94 is prayed.
Normally, I would just change the code of
sub psalm
to delete the unnecessary parts under certain conditions, but I still need the verse 6 and I don't want to make it too complicated. So for now, I will just introduce a new filePsalm94C.txt
, that will contain verse 6 and delete all those$ant's
, but I feel it would be better just stick withInvitatorium.txt
for Invitatory, and let thePsalm94.txt
be a normal Psalm...Thanks for the answers, God bless!
