REQUEST: TMonitor support instead of TCriticalSection

Hello,
Since Delphi 12 has solved all the TMonitor bugs TMonitor is way faster than Critical Section so supporting them for Delphi 12 would be awesome.

Χαράλαμπε, hi, I never expected TMonitor to become out faster than critical section!!! Wow, the community has really engaged here. I will be re-doing NetCom at some point with all suggestions and corrections done via the community. At this point I am converting the house/office into solar (I have a lot of shading here and I had to resort to a kind of data-center style architecture) as the public power corporation here in Greece has become a joke with their pricing… I am also finishing off a software which will be doing wave tracing of sound (a step beyond ray tracing), on the GPU, and my brain is almost evaporating…… I will have finished off everything by the end of August, and then I will be revamping NetCom under all your suggestions and fixes. Well TMonitor was always faster but buggy until Delphi 12. You should need to use IFDEF or something else to use CriticalSection on older versions of delphi though.

I am a Greek too so i know about the power prices lmao.

Ofc the article is back on 2022 so he might tested TMonitor with the bugs/issues which Delphi 12 finally resolved. As you can see from the benchmarks below TMonitor is way faster (at least x2) in Delphi 12 than every lock out there. That why TMonitor locks should be used from Delphi 12 and up.

Test is quite simple and might miss some use cases. But result is pretty convincing.

To be clear, did not make this app. Had som e ideas tough, no idea what, to add something into it...

@chmichael I made a new folder in my fork Source_using_TMonitor (all TCriticalSection code replaced to TMonitor).
