MPQ support?

Hi,
Great work with this project! I was just wondering whether the project supports MPQ instead of CASC? I noticed that there's a file "MpqRequestProcessor.cpp" but perhaps it's just a remnant from earlier code? I know CASC is more modern, but out of curiosity - do you think reading data via MPQ could be added in a fairly easy manner? The MPQ files could be pre-extracted similar to WebWowViewer, as an example.

Initially this project supported MPQ reading. In the beginning it was targeted towards 3.3.5 client. But as the project progressed it was switched to Legion+.
The problem with MPQ is not the support of reading files form MPQ, but the difference in file formats between current client and the pre-WoD ones. For example, ADT files underwent significant change between WotLK and Cata. M2 files were changed in Legion. Database was stored in DBC files in WotLK, but got moved to DB2. And DB2 files itself have changed format several times.

And it's hard to support all of this. I think right now the viewer should be usable with Legion+ data. Support of previous client would be too much of work.

And it's not in great demand, tbh. As far as I know people use this app mainly to explore new content when new content patch comes out

Do you perhaps have a commit id or approximate date for this? I’m a bit curious to take a look at the old MPQ version. I understand it may be buggy and not as complete as current version, but it would be interesting for me to see
