• borrow/return/create/validate/destroy latency.
• TPS/fail/success stats
• pool size, active count, idle count

Expose micrometer, optional spring boot actuator metrics and health support

comparison against not having an object pool would be good as well

there is no guarantee that having an object pool makes anything faster/better/more efficient
