Can't get the PTR of a domain defined in the cloaking rules using dig

On Ubuntu kinetic (22.10) with:

• dnscrypt-proxy 2.1.4
• bind9-dnsutils 1:9.19.9

Successful PTR

dig @localhost -x 8.8.4.4 | grep PTR | grep -v "^;"
4.4.8.8.in-addr.arpa.	43166	IN	PTR	dns.google.

whereas:

dig @localhost -x 192.168.123.31 | grep PTR | grep -v "^;"

with the domain defined in the cloaking rules:

grep cloaking-rules.txt /etc/dnscrypt-proxy/dnscrypt-proxy.toml | grep -v ^#
cloaking_rules = 'cloaking-rules.txt'

grep 192.168.123.31 /etc/dnscrypt-proxy/cloaking-rules.txt 
=www.example.com	192.168.123.31

Am I missing something ?
