Description
Is your feature request related to a problem or a limitation? Please describe...
QPrompt currently supports projecting to local screens/windows but does not offer direct video output for professional broadcast workflows. Many studios and live production setups require NDI (Network Device Interface) or SDI (Serial Digital Interface) output to route teleprompter content through production switchers and video infrastructure.
Describe the solution you'd prefer
Add support for video output using the NDI SDK and Blackmagic DeckLink SDK. This would allow QPrompt to output its teleprompter content as an NDI or SDI video signal, making it compatible with most broadcast and live streaming environments.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using third-party capture hardware or software screen capture to convert the local projection to NDI/SDI. These approaches add latency, reduce quality, and increase complexity compared to native support.
Provide use examples
- A studio uses QPrompt to send the teleprompter output directly as an NDI stream to a TriCaster or vMix switcher.
- QPrompt outputs to SDI via a Blackmagic DeckLink card for integration with traditional video routing and teleprompter monitors.
- Live events benefit from minimal latency and professional-grade video output for on-stage talent.
