Remove flicker with mouse

I have followed the instructions to the no-flicker gui, but I am unable to add a mouse, and furthermore, I cannot seem to get it to work. However, I am able to make a mouse, just anything on screeen flickers like crazy. I just want to be able to have a mouse and a gui, yet it seems the mouse page has been changed so I am unable to do so. Any help appreciated.
