DataGrid ColumnHeader Styles

I have created a style for a column. The font instructions work, the centring of text does not

Can you share the rest of the XAML of where you're using the DataGrid and setting up the header itself? It does appear HorizontalContentAlignment is bound in the template for the columns.

Unfortunately, the DataGrid does not accept the value in HorizontalContentAlignment or HorizontalAlignment.
Likewise, changing the background color does not work. I have tried many things now. In the template and directly in the DataGrid. unfortunately these two things do not work at all.
