Why I cannot find any controls

I add nuget package reference CommunityToolkit.WinUI.Controls.SettingsControls(version **8.1.240821**) to my project, and package manager showed success. (WAS version 1.6.250205002, has another package from CommunityToolkit CommunityToolkit.Mvvm)
But I cannot find any controls (even namespace is not found).
How can I solve this problem, or which part I'm wrong? plz🙏 xwx

@Elipese568 this is most likely the issue with TFM called in the 8.1 release notes due to Win2D upping their main version (you would need to modify your TFM in your csproj). That was resolved and is now fixed in 8.2 which just released, so please try that version instead.

Well, although it seems can be reference, compile wasn't passed.
Compiler showed

Assembly 'CommunityToolkit.WinUI.Controls.SettingsControls' with identity 'CommunityToolkit.WinUI.Controls.SettingsControls, Version=8.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' uses 'WinRT.Runtime, Version=2.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=99ea127f02d97709' which has a higher version than referenced assembly 'WinRT.Runtime' with identity 'WinRT.Runtime, Version=2.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=99ea127f02d97709'

and no passed.
I tried to change my project TFM version to .net9.0 and minimum Windows version to 10.0.19041.0, but it's still no passed.
Now, the UI of the project in IDE is

How can I solve? plz🙏

The TFM still should have -windows in it.

We haven't seen this error before, but I wonder if this is a CsWinRT reference thing? Can you try including the latest CsWinRT package in your project and see if that changes anything?

What VS version are you using? (and which .NET sdk?)

• Closing VS and removing the bin folder
• Unloading/Reloading the project

@michael-hawker @AndrewKeepCoding Ohh, compile passed and it totally worked after I installed Microsoft.Windows.CsWinRT 2.2.0!!!!! Thanks!!!
And, I'm using VS2022 17.12.2, .net8.0.

btw, before I installed Microsoft.Windows.CsWinRT and wasn't using any controls in CommunityToolkit.WinUI.Controls.SettingsControls, an exception Cannot create instance of type 'Microsoft.UI.Xaml.Controls.XamlControlsResources' was thrown. It most likely caused by a reference conflict.
