Hidden folder .git is getting bigger

Hello! I've been using ComfyUI desktop app for Mac for a while and recently I notice there's a hidden folder ".git" within ComfyUI folder is getting bigger and bigger. Is there any way like terminal to resize or fix this problem? Thanks!
