Electrode lowering after implantation?

Hi,

Is there a way to design the payload module to allow lowering of the electrode after implantation?
Have you tried any or do you know of any labs that tried to?

It's a great question, but the short answer is "no"--since you can record from any section of the new probes after implantation, this seemed like a use-case that wouldn't come up too often (and would need a major redesign). I'm not currently aware of any labes that have tried this.
