NIP-17 Private Direct Message Support

Just wondering, but will NIP-17 Private Direct Messages be implemented? Maybe it is out of scope or @CodyTseng has some other opinions on it?

There are currently no plans to implement DMs, since nostr’s DM is quite unreliable. Each client has its own implementation, and users can’t be sure if their messages are actually delivered.

That said, NIP-17 does seem to be gaining traction, which is a good start.

Agreed. I was also thinking of a separate app for DMs / chats only. Not sure if NIP-17 works with any of the current nostr chat clients though.
