Description
Describe the bug
CodeTogether Live does not recognize the Pro subscription when starting a session in Eclipse IDE. Despite being logged in and having an active Pro subscription, only a Free Plan session with a 60-minute limit is initiated. Additionally, clicking on the 'Get Pro' hyperlink redirects to the CodeTogether website, which correctly detects the Pro subscription but does not resolve the issue.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open Eclipse IDE with CodeTogether Live installed.
- Log in to your CodeTogether account with an active Pro subscription.
- Attempt to start a session.
- Observe that the session is limited to the Free Plan 60-minute duration.
- Click on the 'Get Pro' hyperlink on the CodeTogether tab.
- You are redirected to the CodeTogether website, where your Pro subscription is detected, but the session in the IDE remains restricted.
Expected behavior
Starting a session in Eclipse IDE should utilize the Pro subscription features, without any time limits, as indicated by the active subscription.
CodeTogether Host
- IDE: Eclipse
- IDE Version: 2024-09
- OS: Windows 10
Additional context
- Pro Subscription: Monthly Plan
- This issue seems persistent regardless of session restarts or reinstallation of CodeTogether Live in Eclipse.

Workaround (if any)
Currently, no workaround has been identified to initiate Pro sessions directly in Eclipse IDE.
