Description
Each well has an anatomical annotation provided by the Allen indicating where the sample came from.
These annotations were provided by the anatomists that took the samples, so they should be reliable.
Level 2 quality control involves someone anatomically inclined to audit the locations of the wells compared to what the description says and to do some kind of marking based on how close they are to the actual location.
