If you had talon toes, wouldn't it make sense to take a sock and cut a hole in it to fit your talons, I mean it's not gonna be much better than foot wraps, but it's faster and works if you can ignore the sock riding up your foot all the time, maybe if you were better at tailoring you could do something about it slipping
Solution you would like.
Very basic recipe of cutting the toe end of a sock, this would allow you to wear it through your toe talons, although it wouldn't be particularly comfortable!
Additionally this could be used to add some flare to vagabond characters as their socks can likely be damaged in that way
Currently there is almost no footwear beyond foot wraps and leather sandals in mutant clothing progression, adding higher level footwear that allows natural attacks is an untapped area of progression, this would likely come from new survivor clothing footwear, which may come in the form of a "Survivor Sandal" or "Survivor Tabi", though obviously these will certainly be less protective and less warm than the boots!
Describe alternatives you have considered.
Kevlar, lycra, denim, nomex, neoprene, nylon, and canvas all are not used for any footwraps or equivilant, and the rougher fabrics can be a normal layer and may require a soft layer beneath like wool footwraps, I'd be uncomfortable if denim or canvas was rubbing against my feet all the time, it likely would be a good idea to use some cut-resistant fabric to make footwraps if you couldn't wear shoes
