Feature Request: Any chance you can add a floating icon inside the browser window to set sound?

Hi there,

I would like to know if there is any chance you may consider adding a floating extension icon inside the browser window?

Our browsers do not contain an Icon bar for extensions, where the extension's interface can be accessed. The WebView2 runtime from Microsoft does not provide us such functionality.

Just asking if this would be possible, as we are looking very hard to expand our own v3 manifest unpacked Extension Library.

Microsoft made it very hard for us with their WebView2 runtime controller. It does accept v3 Extensions, but does not provide us with an Icon bar for extension interaction.

What we have found is that some of the better extensions provide a floating icon on the right-hand side of the screen for access, or has an icon and access point on the context menu, when you right-click inside the browser window.

I am simply asking if this is possible as a feature that may be helpful to our own range of browsers.

sure! I can definitely add a floating icon inside the browser window, it just might take me a couple of days to get to the feature.

This is Very good news, thank you so very much for accepting my request! 🤩

We are finding it very difficult to find extensions that don't require interaction with the Icon toolbar. It is the one short coming we have when using Microsoft's WebView2 runtime component.

There is no rush, take your time completing your work.
