the problem is probably deeper than i thought. i decided to try to force taurine to believe that my device is not jailbroken, but when i try to install the jailbreak, regardless of which exploit is selected, it freezes at stage 1 (screenshot with logs attached, that's the only thing he outputs and only with cicuta_virosa), and in the case of kfd, after a while it just crashes to the desktop. unfortunately, due to a lack of the necessary skills, i can't easily determine what the error is, but i'll try, and if i can, i'll post a corrected build of taurine where everything works (or more detailed information about the possible causes of the problem or the problem itself) |

in short, i was able to move forward (as i understand it, it all depends on the situation), but due to the instability of the entire system, it is quite difficult to implement this. i'd rather study something more useful than try to poke around with something that doesn't really work (i could try to do something to make the emulator work better, but unfortunately, at the moment, i don't have the necessary skills, i'm just learning). |

The emulator is not that unstable. But I don't think you will be able to jailbreak in the same sense that you do a real device, as 1. the emulator jumps directly to iOS and does not use SecureROM or iBoot, 2. the emulator is running a beta version of iOS 14 (which may not be tested against these jailbreaks). You can apply the kernel patches from e.g. pongoOS inside the emulator's code. TrollStore should work through the link in Safari if you get the direct link, as the page itself will render blank for now. |

i haven't really tried it yet, i only ran it once. it stuck at stage 2 (kernel exploit), i didn't wait as i didn't have much time. as soon as i get a chance, i'll look into it better. by the way, it didn't detect that i was jailbroken like taurine did. |

after at least half an hour of waiting he was still in stage 2, and after a while he even got a kernel panic
considering the fact that the same taurine was able to exploit the kernel, in theory i can try the third option - use fugu14, replacing the exploit with cicuta_virosa, so that it works on an older version of ios (14.0-14.2), but considering what was written above, this may also not work. unfortunately, at the moment i do not know how exactly fugu14 works and whether something can be done about it, but you never know, maybe a miracle will happen |

i apologize in advance for possibly incorrect wording of the question, as i don't know english very well and don't know if i'm getting the point right. i installed trollstore and taurine, but in taurine it somehow detected that i already have a jailbroken device. maybe i don't understand the point and i'm doing something wrong? how in general can i jailbreak a device to have sileo and everything else right on the device? of course i can somehow experiment with direct disk access, but i would like to try to do something right on the device like in real life (flexlist to sniff internet traffic from some apps, for example).
