idevicerestore cannot find iPhone VM type

Help, I'm getting this error when running idevicerestore:

Okay, so following up to the previous thread, I looked at the iOS VM console while performing the idevicerestore command and then I noticed something:

Is this last line mentioned above might be the root of the problem? Am I missing something when setting up both the companion and iPhone VMs? I also made sure that usbmuxd is running, so I don't know why idevicerestore cannot identify the type of the emulated iPhone.
