Question on status

Hi Bruce,
I have downloaded and integrated the ecowitt_iot integration into my HA.
I understand that this integration is work in progress, not only for the not-touched AC1100 but also for the WFC01 (by the way there is a WFC02 available meanwhile, not as a replacement but as a size/volume upgrade).
Currently I can see several entities for the WFC01.
This is so for the read portion. That's not yet IoT functionality.
What I don't see - and what is possibly still under construction - is the possibility to switch the device on and off - like a basic button.
Or did I miss something ? EDIT: found that after the hint of @klein1785 - see below
Are there functions planned to switch the on/off WFC01 based on a schedule or off based on waterflow volume ?
And, the next level, based on what Ecowitt calls Smart Plans starting/stopping the device based on certain weather observations ?
Are you active in one of the main Ecowitt forums like wxforum.net in the Ambient and Fine Offset board ?
It would be great if you were and opened a thread for this integration where more questions could be asked and progress could be followed.

By the way, I am author of the FineOffset/Ecowitt WiKi (meshka.eu/Ecowitt/dokuwiki) where your integration has also found entry - but the available information ist still rather sparse.

Hello, I also use the integration and have a switch available. The integration is unstable for me (see Error fetching ecowitt_iot data: Timeout communicating with API), but this can be easily resolved with automation.
Attached is a photo of the entities.

Thanks, I have now all entities in a card - the values are properly shown - the switching on/off works.
so far so good. Now I can do out of HA what the WS View Plus app also can do.
Until here it should be analogously possible to do the same with the AC1100.
Next step is to implement scheduled plans - time and volume based.
After that, which might be more complex, would be smart plans, i.e. start (and stop) a plan (time, volume) based on one or more combined sensor thresholds of sensors attached to the hub (single or multiple AND/OR rules) . And then also overwrite a scheduled plan by a smart plan.
One would basically have to emulated the functionality of the Ecowitt app in the IoT device context.
