Description
Jelly Beans, Conceptually:
Jelly Beans are made out of a desire to include more transient effects (ones that won't persist indefinitely, assuming the player doesn't die) to Gumobtainium.
A Gumbium ingot will last until the player dies (or if the planned config to keep-gumdata-on-death is enabled, until they drink vinegar.)
A Jelly Bean will be very temporary, depending on the effects. Either a certain duration, or until the player is hit, or et cetera.
Jelly Beans are crafted with 1 gelatin nugget (or Gum Arabic equivalent, another planned feature) and other thematic resources.
Sweet Berry Bean:
Berries in Minecraft are red and obviously sweet. This is a great opportunity for a single-use alternative to Gumobtainum "ingots."
On consumption, a Sweet Berry Bean will give the player a Fragile Gum Heart. It acts similar to a Gum Heart in that it completely protects against 1 instance of damage, but it will not regenerate after losing it.
It is much cheaper than a Gumobtainium ingot, taking only 1 gelatin nugget and 1 sweet berry.
(Or in 1.12, 1 red dye and 1 sugar).
It will have a cap of 5 fragile hearts, which stack with regular Gum Hearts. The fragile ones will be consumed first, so the player has to make a value judgement over when it's worthwhile to spend beans in a given situation.
(Dev Note: Just general balance stuff, really. Is this too cheap? With these existing, will a player bother crafting Gumobtainium? How do I prevent a player from speed-eating these during combat and becoming functionally invincible?)
